Opinions on AI (Hailey Hill)
Honestly, I think we’re all just collectively holding our breath waiting to see if AI is going to be our ultimate sidekick or the thing that finally breaks the internet for good. On one hand, it’s absolute magic—I mean, having a tool that can debug your messy code, summarize a dry 50-page report in seconds, or generate a weirdly specific piece of digital art is a total game-changer. It feels like we’ve all been handed a "brain power-up." But at the same time, it’s making everything feel a bit... uncanny? We’re already drowning in deepfakes and AI-generated slop, and it’s getting harder to tell if you’re actually connecting with a human or just vibing with a very sophisticated math equation.
Looking at the bigger picture, the job market vibes are definitely "anxious." While the tech bros tell us we’ll all have more leisure time once the bots take over the boring stuff, most of us are just wondering if our specific career path is about to get "automated" into extinction. It feels like we’re in this weird, experimental phase where the tech is moving way faster than our ability to handle it ethically or legally. Personally, I don't think AI is going to destroy the world, but it’s definitely going to kill the "old way" of doing things—and if we don't start prioritizing human creativity and actual truth over pure efficiency, we might end up in a future that’s technically perfect but totally soulless.
