In this book, we read about how Jesus took the form of a slave, even to the point of death, just to be like us. He went from full authority to no authority and this is the same way other christians should be because we are supposed to be made in the image of God. This was a great perspective for me to take in. We are not better than the fish in the sea and birds in the sky. We are equal. And we should treat each other as such. I want to live my life like that from now on and treat everyone just as I would want to be treated, even if that is just for an animal or a single flower. Our natural world is a huge aspect of our life here on earth and it is important to treat our environment with the same respect I have realized.
